Welcome to Totara Park Riding for the Disabled!

Totara Park RDA is affiliated to New Zealand Riding for the Disabled (NZRDA) which is a charitable organisation made up of 55 RDA groups around the country.

We are audited by NZRDA every year. In order to get our Operational Certificate we are required to pass mandatory and required standards. These standards are constantly under review and have been updated to come in line with the latest Health and Safety Act April 2016. An Operational Certificate is required in order to be affiliated to NZRDA. We have our own Safety Officer and team which monitors and updates our safety procedures regularly.

Training of volunteers, coaches and therapists is provided by NZRDA qualified trainers.
